For your convenient use of PetBudeez, we collect Information about your pets and you. The Information we collect depends on your use of our Products. Please, visit PetBudeez Settings and Profile to access and delete the Information we collect from you.
PetBudeez activities you and others do and your Information we get from them
We collect the communications, content, and other Information you provide when you use PetBudeez, including registering your account, creating or sharing content, and messaging or communicating with others. It can include Information in or about the content you provide: for example, when and where a photo or video was created, what you see through features we provide, such as our camera functionality when we suggest masks and filters that you might like, or we give you tips on using camera formats. Our system automatically processes your communications and content. It analyzes the context and the content for the following purposes:
Data with special protections: Information such as religious views, philosophical beliefs, political leanings, who you are interested in, your racial or ethnic origin could require special protections per your country's laws. If you provide that type of Information, we will give it special protection. We do not include any request for data with special protections in our first release.
Your Networks and Connections: We are interested in and collect Information about the pets, the pet owners, groups of owners you are connected to, and you interact with them across our Product, e.g., pet owners you communicate with, the groups of pet owners you are a member of. We collect contact information if you choose to upload, sync, or import from a device (such as an address book) to help you find Pet owners and Pets you may know.
Your usage. We collect Information about the types of content you view or interact with, the actions you take; the features you use; the pets or Pet owners' accounts you engage with; and the frequency, time, and duration of your PetBudeez interactions. For example, we log when you're using and the last time you have used PetBudeez and what posts, comments, videos, and other content you view. We log Information about how you use features like our camera.
Information other users provide about you. We collect and analyze content, communications, and Information about you and your Pets that other people provide when they use PetBudeez: e.g., Information about you, when others share or comment on a photo of your pets or yours, send a message to you, or upload, sync, or import your contact information.
We collect and combine Information from and about the phones, computers, tablets, and other web-connected devices you use that integrate with PetBudeez. It allows us to personalize better the content or features you see when you use our Products on another device (laptop or tablet) or to measure whether you took action on a notification we sent you on your phone or your tablet.
Information collected from these devices:
Device attributes Information like the operating system, software, and hardware versions.
Identifiers We collect unique identifiers, device IDs, and other identifiers unique to associated with the same device or account.
Device settings: Information you allow us to collect through device settings like cameras, photos, or your GPS location.
Network and connections: Information such as IP address, time zone, language, mobile phone number, connection speed, and any other network information to help you stream a pet video from your phone to your TV.
Cookie data: We collect data from cookies stored on your device, including cookie settings and cookie IDs.
We use the Information we collect (subject to choices you make) as described below to provide and support the PetBudeez and related services described in our Terms and Conditions.
Provide, personalize and improve our Products
We use the collected Information to personalize and improve our products and give you suggestions on pet owners groups you may be interested in following and pet topics and pet events of interest. While personalizing our PetBudeez to make it unique and relevant to you, we use your connections, preferences, interests, and activities in the data we collect. We learn from you and other users' data how you use and interact with PetBudeez and the pets, pet owners, places you are connected to and interested in while using our Product.
Information across devices you use: We connect Information about your activities on different devices (phones, tablets) to provide you with an experience that is more tailored and consistent with who you are.
Location-related Information: location-related Information is your current location, residence, the places you like to go to, and the businesses and people you visit. This data allows us to provide, personalize, and improve PetBudeez for you and others. Location-related Information can be based on your device location (if you allow PetBudeez to collect it), device IP addresses, and Information from your use and others' use of PetBudeez at events (such as pet events).
Product research and development: We use the collected Information to develop, test, and improve our Products, including conducting surveys and research and testing and troubleshooting new features.
The collected Information is beneficial in our efforts to verify accounts and activity, combat harmful interactions with our Product, maintain the integrity of our Product, and promote safety and security on our PetBudeez Platform. For example, we use our data to investigate suspicious activity or violations of our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Your Information is used to send you marketing and other communications about PetBudeez, our privacy policies, and our terms and conditions. Your Information allows us to respond quickly to your requests.
Sharing on the PetBudeez platform
When you communicate and share using our PetBudeez, you choose the audience for what you share. For example, when you post, you select the audience, such as a pet group, your pet friends, the public (all the pets and pet owners), or a customized list of pets and their owners. Other accounts will see who has viewed their PetBudeez posts.
Anyone can see Public Information, even if they don't have an account. Public Information includes your username, any information you share with a public audience, Information in your public profile, and content you share on a Page. When marked as public, your Information can be seen, accessed, reshared, or downloaded through third-party search engines.
It would be best to consider whom you share with. Pets and Pet owners who can see your activity on PetBudeez can choose to share it with others outside your audience. For example, you share a post or send a message to specific pet friends or pet owners' accounts, they can download, screenshot, or reshare that content to others on or off our Products. Also, be mindful that when you comment on a post from someone else or react to their content, your reaction or comment is visible to anyone who can see the other person's content, and that person can share it with their different audience.
People can use PetBudeez to create and share content about you and your pet with their chosen audience. For example, Pet owners can share a photo of you or your pet in a Post, mention or tag you or your pet in a post, or share Information about you in their posts or comments. If sharing posts about you and your pets makes you uncomfortable, you can use the PetBudeez feature to report their posts or comments.
Pets and Pet owners in your networks can see signals telling them whether you are active on the PetBudeez platform.
If a new owner takes ownership or control of all or part of the Company and its assets, we may be obliged to transfer your Information to the new owner.
When you subscribe to receive or buy something from a Pet Service Provider, the Service Provider will receive your public Information and other Information you share with them and the Information needed to complete your transaction, including shipping and contact details.
We also provide data and content to research partners and academics to conduct research that advances scholarship and innovation that supports our business and enhances discovery and innovation, technological advancement, public interest, pet well-being, and pet health.
We do share Information with law enforcement or in response to legal requests.
We provide you with the functionality to access, rectify, report, and erase your data. Learn more in your PetBudeez Settings and Profile.
We store collected data until it is no longer necessary for our services to you or until you delete your account - whichever comes first. This decision is a case-by-case determination that depends on the data type, the purpose for collecting and processing it, and relevant legal or operational needs for its retention. As an example, when you search for a pet on PetBudeez, you can delete that query from your search history at any time, but the log of that search is deleted after three months. However, If you submit a copy of your government-issued ID, we will verify your account and, in most cases, delete that copy 30 days after the review.
When you delete your account, we delete all your posts, such as your photos and comments, and you won't recover that Information later. Information that others have shared about you and your pet isn't part of the deal and won't be deleted. If all you want is not to delete your account but temporarily stop using it, just deactivate your account. For more on deleting your account at any time, please visit Settings and Profile.
We access, preserve and share Information with law enforcement and regulators:
When we receive a legal request (a search warrant, a court order, or a subpoena), we verify in good faith that the country law requires us to comply, that the legal request affects users in that jurisdiction and for non-US countries is consistent with international standard. Then we provide the Information. This response may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside the United States.
When in our judgment, it is necessary to: detect and prevent fraud and other unauthorized use of the Product.
Information we receive about you is preserved and accessible for a longer period when required to satisfy a legal request, law enforcement, or a regulator investigation. We take similar measures to investigate possible violations of our terms or policies or otherwise to prevent harm. We retain Information from disabled accounts if they violate our terms and conditions for one year. This measure avoids more abuse or other violations of our Terms and conditions.
We share Information globally, both internally within our Products and externally with our partners and with those you connect and share with worldwide per this policy. For example, we may transfer or transmit to or store and process data in various countries where you live. The transfers will be for the purposes we described in this policy. These data transfers are necessary to provide the services outlined in the Products Terms and Conditions, operate globally, and provide our Products to you. We obtain your consent for these data transfers to the United States and other countries.
